The project "Improving learning capacities and mental health of elder people" aims at developing innovative training materials addressed to elder people (working or retired people) in order to preserve the fitness of their mind. The project execution will count on other additional benefits as it will provide the target collective new knowledge that can be used in their daily life and improve their quality of life.
The objective of the project is to produce a training material for elderly people for brain training to keep their mind in good condition, to prevent dementia and preserve independence.
The outcomes of the project include the national and comparative analyses on the state of elderly citizens and learning in higher age, the compilation of best practices in the field of brain training (memory games, exercises, training, initiatives), the production of web-based teaching materials, the production of a handbook on brain training for elder people, as theoretical bases to be used by trainers and experts.

As a final outcome of the project, a training material was elaborated in common project activities:
