Relevant information

Please note that your language proficiency in English should be at least on the level B2 in order to study or have a practical training at the Tallinn Health Care College. Tallinn Health Care College has the right to conduct a Skype interview with you to test your language skills.

Application period

Admission period for Spring semester: 15/09–15/11 (nomination deadline: 31/10).
Admission period for Autumn semester: 15/03–15/05 (nomination deadline: 30/04).

Application process

Please start by kindly asking your Erasmus+ coordinator to submit your nomination letter here. After that please follow the step by step in the system and upload all the required documents there.

Declaration of health - please ask your family doctor to fill it in, sign and stamp it. Without this document you can´t start your traineeship in the field of nursing or midwifery.

Students looking for a traineeship in the field of pharmacy, dental technology, optometry and health promotion, please agree upon the content of your traineeship with the respective head of curriculum:

NB! Please note that we offer traineeships only as they are in our curriculum (ECTS, traineeship hours, evaluation: non-distinctive or distinctive evaluation as written in the system). Please discuss your training plan at your home university.

If you would like to take elective courses, please take a look at our list of courses in English. Please note that we offer courses as described on our webpage - we use non-distinctive evaluation (passed/failed). It means that you will not be given a mark.

Grant agreement

Tallinn Health Care College is responsible for signing the grant agreement with participants and will administer all grant payments for mobility to Europe ("incoming") and from Europe ("outgoing"). The grant agreement will be prepared and sent by the head of international relations Ms Eve Epner (eve.epner@ttk.ee). The Erasmus+ grant will be paid to the participant once this agreement has been signed.

Insurance

We recommend you to have travel insurance. The Tallinn Health Care College does not provide you with neither accidence insurance, health insurance nor the liability insurance. Having the adeqate insurance is the student´s responsibility.

Evaluation and final certificate

Kindly ask your mentor at the hospital to fill in your feedback form before you leave. After that you will receive Transcript of Records either by e-mail or on paper.

Accommodation

Until we have not confirmed your learning agreement, please do not fill in the hostel application! You can apply for accommodation at our student hostel here. Please find general information about the student hostel and prices here. Accommodation for students is also provided by Academic Hostel. Find out more here. It is also possible to rent a room or apartment in Tallinn. In this case please be careful and take time to do the research to be sure the accommodation provider is trustworthy.
