Dietitians Ensuring Education, Teaching and Professional Quality (DIETS2) 10.2010-09.2013
Tallinn Health Care College participates in a project DIETITIANS ENSURING EDUCATION, TEACHING AND PROFESSIONAL QUALITY" (DIETS2). DIETS2 project is a continuation to project DIETS that lasted from 2006-2009.
The objectives of DIETS2 are to:
a) define and publish 2nd and 3rd level specific dietetic competences and a framework for their use (include ECTS)
b) produce pedagogic standards for dietetic placements and guidance for placement opportunities in non-clinical areas
c) publish a ‘toolkit’ for LLL, a database of current education provision at 2nd and 3rd cycle and future needs
d) use social networking and other innovative ICT engage European dietitians and HEIs in use of e-learning, an e-journal and other Network products
e) make available tools for enquiry learning and courses for first cycle dietetic students through use of technology
f) publish, disseminate and exploit the outcomes of the Network to benefit other healthcare professionals

7.–10.11.2013 lecturer of the Chair of Pharmacy Laine Parts and students Anton Nassonov and Ksenia Ksentitskaja participate in the LLP/Erasmus network "Dietitians Ensuring Education, Teaching and Professional Quality" (DIETS2) and "European Federation of the Associations od Dietitians" (EFAD) VII conference "Non-Communicable Diseases – the dietitians? response to Health 2020" and work group meeting in Garda, Italy.
25.–28.10.2012 lecturer of the Chair of Pharmacy Laine Parts participates in the LLP/Erasmus network "Dietitians Ensuring Education, Teaching and Professional Quality" (DIETS2) and "European Federation of the Associations od Dietitians" (EFAD) VI conference and in DIETS2 work group meeting in Portorož, Slovenia. 27.10.2012 Laine Parts gives a presentation at the DIETS2 VI conference with her German colleague Ute Brehme on the topic of lifelong learning and how to document one’s kills and qualifications. 20.–23.10.2011 lecturer of the Chair of Pharmacy Laine Parts participates in the LLP/Erasmus network "Dietitians Ensuring Education, Teaching and Professional Quality" (DIETS2) V conference and in a work meeting of DIETS2 network in Barcelona, Spain.
3.–5.12.2010 lecturer of the Chair of Pharmacy Laine Parts participates in the LLP/Erasmus network "Dietitians Ensuring Education, Teaching and Professional Quality" (DIETS2) conference in Amsterdam, Holland, with the aim to integrate into the work of DIETS Thematic Network.
