College received 1713 applications

Summer admission of 2016 in Tallinn Health Care College is coming to an end. During the admissions period it was possible to apply for 7 higher education curricula: Basic Nursing Education, Optometry, Assistant Pharmacy, Occupational Therapy, Health Promotion, Dental Technology, and 2 vocational education programmes: Care Worker and Child Minder (specialising for caring for a child with special needs)

In comparison with the previous year, Tallinn Health Care College received 165 applications more than last year. In total, 1713 applications were submitted: 1616 for higher education and 97 applications for vocational education curricula. The highest number of applications were submitted for Basic Nursing Education programme, 647 applications in total with competition for one learning place 4,3 applicants. The most popular curriculum was Dental Technology where 18,4 people were competing over one learning place. Next in line was Optometry – 9,4 candidates for one learning place. Other higher education curricula followed: Midwifery – 8,6, Occupational Therapy – 6,8, Health Promotion – 6,1 and Assistant Pharmacy – 5,9 applicants for one learning place. The overall competition for higher education curricula was 6,1 applicants for one learning place.
