INTERREG IIIA programmi project : Prevention of drug usage and sexually transmitted diseases in Helsinki and Tallinn (HUUTA).
The project is coordinated and leaded by MTÜ Helsinki- Tallinn EUREGIO, applying for financial resources from the Phare INTERREG IIIA in the frames of the South-Finland – Estonia project.
The main objectives of the project:
• development and application of a selective subject for the counsellors dealing with the prevention drug usage, persons involved in prostitution, HIV- positives, contagious diseases;
• development of study materials with experts;
• exchange of experts between Tallinn- Helsinki, development of cooperation between social and health care organisations and NGO-s in Helsinki and Tallinn; development of permanent services and methods for prevention of drug usage and contagious diseases.
