In the frame of the European Social Fund´s project "Professional training for adults in vocational education institutions" in state vocational education institutions, applied higher education institutions and municipal education institutions administered by the Ministry of Education and Research is Tallinn Health College providing the following courses in the academic year 2007/2008:

The Grundtvig programme seeks to respond to the challenges raised by the necessity to update knowledge and to provide adults with pathways to improve their know-how and competences, as they progress through life so that they can adapt to changes in the labour market and society.

The aim of the Global Fund´s project  "From youth to youth" is the prevention of HIV/AIDS among young people through special tuition courses and materials prepared in the course of the project.

The main aim of the project:

Effective operation and synergical cooperation consistant with the needs of the Estonian society and European Union directives.

Interdiciplinary Programme on Palliative and End-of-Life Care (IPPE)

This intensive programme focuses on End-of-life issues and wants to meet the physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and practical needs needs of patients and caregivers.

3. January. Traditional  tuition in January for THC lecturers. Main subject of the tution:quality.

3. January - 28. March. LLP/Erasmus exchange students in Tallinn Health College are  Marisa Gabral Monteiro Fonseca Silva, Ana Margarida Pocas de Freitas Rato and Daniel Filipe Almeida Nico from Escola Superior de Efermagem Maria Fernanda Resende, Portugal.

6. August. Preparatory meeting of the programme INTERREG project "Raising of wellbeing of elderly people in Finland and Estonia throuh promotion and dissemination of self-care strategies" in Diaconia Polytechnic, Helsinki. Participants: Maarja Unt - Interact, Maiu Kauber, Maiu Sikk - Tallinn Pedagogical College, Tiina Juhansoo - Tallinn Health College, Estonia;  Sakari Kainulainen, Harri Kostilainen, Jari Helminen - Diaconia Polyrechnic, Finland.

9. July. Cor Segeren from Netherlands discussing the questions connested with the preparation of the COHEHRE consortsium conference taking place in April 2008 in Tallinn Health College. Participants: Tiina Juhansoo, Eve Epner.

16.-20. July. International Conference "14th European Conference on Personality (ECP 14)" in Tartu, Estonia. Participant: Eda Müürsepp.
