In the frames of the Leonardo da Vinci exchange programme`s projecti D/2004/PL (ex)-430 3500 330 „Go last practice“  was Tallinn Medical School hosting the following delegation of ten teachers from  Germany:

Client worker for people with mental health problems is a specialist in the field of special care, and guides and supports a person with mental disability in performing their activities of daily living, work-related activities and recreational activities in order to ensure maximum independence and quality of life. The client worker for people with mental health problems works in a team, and works with various specialists and the people closest to the client in the interests of the client.

The aim of the sterilisation technician´s work is to provide the client with safe and quality health care service, and to avoid the onset of health care associated infections. A sterilisation technician performs and participates in cleaning, disinfection, maintenance and sterilization of medical equipment.

Child minder is a worker who has acquired knowledge in the area of caring for children and supporting their development. The aim of the baby sitters work is to support the physical, emotional, intellectual and social development of the child considering the familys needs in taking care of the child. In one’s work baby sitter is guided by the childs rights, wellbeing and safety. Baby sitter provides a service that can be offered at the child’s home, at the baby sitters home or elsewhere in a place chosen by the parents.
